2009 Canadian
District
Elections
Annually,
the
Canadian District
conducts elections as per Standard Operating Procedure
SOP
1.07 Rev D to fill positions on the Board of Directors for the
Canadian District. This election takes place during the Annual
General Meeting
(see schedule). A call for nominations will begin two
months prior to the AGM. Nominations will be posted as
they become available. If you are a member in good
standing in APICS Canadian District and are interested in
running or nominating someone you are eligible. All nominations
are to be forwarded
to Kerry
Wallace Edmonton Chapter, as acting chair. Nominees
for all positions are to provide a brief resume listing
pertinent credentials specifically APICS service for posting on the Community of
Practice.
Note that position portfolios were
changed in 2008. For the fall elections only the Assistant
District manager, director of admin, communications, chapter
support and development, and education and office development
are open. The District Manager and District Director positions
are open this year. Draft
SOP 1.09 outlines the position descriptions in more detail.
