2008 Canadian District Elections

Annually, the Canadian District conducts elections as per Standard Operating Procedure SOP07 to fill positions on the Board of Directors for the Canadian District.  This election takes place during the Annual General Meeting (see schedule). A call for nominations will begin two months prior to the AGM.  Nominations will be posted as they become available.  If you are a member in good standing in APICS Canadian District and are interested in running or nominating someone. All nominations are to be forwarded to Manohar Menon. Nominees for all positions are to provide a brief resume listing pertinent credentials specifically APICS service for posting on the Community of Practice.

Voting for the positions of District Manager and Director is accelerated for 2007 and may be completed electronically by Sept. 14th.

 District Manager (formerly RVP) Chapter Min Std.; Chapter Mgt Training & Communication; member recruitment
 District Director (Assistant District Manager) Member of Society BOD; Dev Policies, Procedures, Education offerings; Backup to DM
 Director of Administration District Financial Officer; Maintains SOPs;  Web site; Meeting minutes
 Director of Communications Facilitates Volunteers Learning Community; Marketing; Volunteers resources on society web; Best practices
 Director of Chapter Support and Development Chapter Min. Std. & C-Bar; Revitalization CMS; Volunteer Reward Programs
 Director of Education and Officer Development Meeting Agendas; TTT & LDI; Liaise with society for Chapter officer education, training, relations; ASC conference
